OCCU members brought in non-perishable food for our food drive that supported Interfaith Emergency Services – Brother’s Keepers Soup Kitchen. (Thank You Members!)

OCCU was proud to sponsor the City of Ocala’s Annual Health Fair once again this year. OCCU employee, Cynthia “Cindy”, volunteered her time and energy in answering questions and handing out goodies to these City Employees.

OCCU sponsored three (First Assembly Christian School, Vanguard HS, and Forest HS) schools in our area so they may meet the new state requirement of teaching Financial Literacy. Yes, high school graduates are now required to pass a financial literacy class in order to graduate. OCCU sponsorship provides all the materials the teachers need at no cost to the schools, teachers, or students.

OCCU member Destiny Dawson continues her journey to be one of the best golfers in the country with being awarded ALL-GLIAC Second Team, and now in the Top 15 of all NCAA Women’s Golf.

OCCU recognizes Diane Guinn’s 20 years of service with personalized clock of appreciation. Diane began her career at OCCU on January 10, 1997 at the old downtown credit union building and continues to be with us today at our new 36th avenue building. In March & April, OCCU members enjoyed seeing brand new Ducati Motorcycles in our lobby thanks to the courtesy of MililliMoto here in Ocala, FL. In addition, we had Motorcycle & Boat Loan Promotions going with low interest rates during this time.
